Poland Charity Campaign
Dear colleagues,
As you know, at Stefanini we have a tradition in sustaining the education for children who are facing challenges in continuing their studies. Therefore, we organize annually the “One Child, One Backpack” campaign to let us, as a Stefanini community, support children coming from vulnerable environments, we buy school bags and study kits for children who are dealing with such difficult situations.
This year we did it as well!
Here is a short summary on what has happened in Poland in cooperation with the orphanage “Dom Dziecka Chmielowice”:
- We managed to support 14 children: 7 boys (from 9 to 18 years old) and 7 girls (from 11 to 18 years old)
- Our employees have gathered the amount of 900 PLN in order to contribute and support children’s needs
- The full amount contributed to the campaign along with Stefanini support was over 3000 PLN
- Children could start the new school year with a smile and backpacks full of necessary articles and supplies such as:
- Technical blocks
- A4 notebooks
- 80-sheet notebooks in a paperback, grid and lines
- Pencil cases
- Ballpoint pens and erasers
- Glues, pens, markers
Most probably we all remember how important for us as children were the first school days: new classes, new classmates, new responsibilities… That’s why our support was so important to those children – we made this days way easier for them! – and for this kindness and contribution we are truly grateful to you!
